NXT Gen Cup joins Swedish season finale at Mantorp this weekend with demo runs
NXT Gen Cup, the world’s first 100% electric junior touring car cup, will join the iconic Grande Finale at Mantorp Park in Sweden this weekend on September 20-21.
A couple of LRT NXT1 race cars will be on display throughout the race weekend and perform demonstration runs on track with series founder Fredrik Lestrup behind the wheel.
“The Mantorp Park season finale is an iconic Swedish motorsport event and something we of course glad to be back at after we held our thrilling 2023 finale here,” said Fredrik Lestrup.
“We will provide young Swedish drivers with an insight into the world of electrified junior racing and showcase NXT Gen Cup on track in front of a big crowd. This is a perfect build up ahead of our own 2024 season finale at Hockenheim next month!”
