ICANIWILL becomes official sports apparel supplier of NXT Gen Cup

ICANIWILL (ICIW) has become the official sports apparel supplier of NXT Gen Cup, the world's first 100% electric junior touring car cup.

"We are thoroughly pleased to welcome ICIW to the NXT Gen Cup family where their philosophy of 'pushing limits and dreaming big' is a perfect match with our own core values," said Christian Axelsson, Partners & Event Manager of NXT Gen Cup.

“Together with ICIW we can provide our young talents with the right tools to train and prepare in the best way possible for the tough challenges that are to come in the NXT Gen Cup.”

The new cooperation will see the Swedish sportswear brand providing the NXT Gen Cup drivers with training apparel and vital tools for their physical training ahead of the upcoming season.

"We look forward to a successful and rewarding cooperation with NXT Gen Cup, where a common mindset on innovation and helping young talents within sports are our driving forces," said Anders Wallstedt, CEO of ICANIWILL.

A first part of the cooperation with ICIW was a training session in Stockholm for the NXT Gen Cup drivers with Pyry Salmela, a long-standing member of the Formula 1 paddock - currently working as a driver Performance Coach for Red Bull Scuderia Alphatauri.

"The physical aspect of motorsport is often overlooked, something that we together with NXT Gen Cup and Pyry aim to change," said Anders Wallstedt.

"We look forward to help the young talents of the championship, providing them with the tools to exercise in the right way and thereby improving their performance both on and off track."

NXT Gen Cup is the world's first fully electric junior touring car cup which will start in 2023 and run alongside the all-electric STCC, featuring a strong grid of LRT NXT1 race cars which are based on the electric MINI Cooper SE road car.
