Tourenwagen Junior Cup champion Leon Arndt joins NXT Gen Cup at Hockenheim
17-year-old Tourenwagen Junior Cup champion Leon Arndt joins the NXT Gen Cup grid at Hockenheim, as the German makes his electric race debut.
"It’s very exciting for me, as I’ve never driven an electric car before. My goal is to make the most of this opportunity," said Leon Arndt.
After claiming the 2023 Tourenwagen Junior Cup title, Leon Arndt has competed in GT4 in the GTC Race series this year.
“It’ll be my first time in the car, so I have a lot to learn during the practice sessions, but I think aiming for a top-five finish this weekend is realistic”
The NXT Gen Cup races together with the DTM - Europe’s premier and best-known racing series - at the Hockenheimring finale weekend and all races are broadcast LIVE on YouTube.
