YouTube star Misha Charoudin joins NXT Gen Cup field at the Nürburgring

YouTube star and Nürburgring specialist Misha Charoudin is going to join this weekend's NXT Gen Cup round in Germany as a guest driver.

Misha Charoudin is one of the most experienced drivers of the Nürburgring Nordschleife and no stranger to the GP circuit which the NXT Gen Cup field will tackle this weekend.

The 34-year-old has got a following of close to 1.5 million on YouTube and has built a loyal fan base around his adventures surrounding the Nürburgring.

"I'm thrilled to join the NXT Gen Cup this weekend and while I've done plenty of laps at the Nürburgring in all kinds of cars, racing in the NXT Gen Cup will be something completely new and exciting for me," said Misha Charoudin.

His previous racing experience includes the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring, VLN and various other endurance and sprint races around the world.

"I'm impressed by NXT Gen Cup's setup of bringing young motorsport talents forward with close and competitive electric racing," said Misha Charoudin.

"I'm really glad to get the opportunity to take part in the championship as a guest driver and showcase it to a wide audience. I have no specific ambitions in terms of results as I will have limited preparations. But the LRT NXT1 race car looks like great fun and I have no doubt that we are in for a thrilling weekend."

Misha Charoudin will join the 16-car NXT Gen Cup field during the Nürburgring DTM race weekend on August 17-18, which is broadcast LIVE on YouTube - learn more.
